So it's been almost an entire year since my last blog entry? How's that for burning out quickly? Well just like I promised to lose 20 lbs this summer, and how I promised to cut back on the Chinese buffet at lunchtime...I PROMISE that I will keep this blog up to date.
There are photos from the 2013 Big Game tailgate that must be posted, although on second thought they may get us into some trouble. What's the statute of limitations for illegal dumping on private property?
The 2013 Big Game Tailgate was epic, as always. Sadly, so was the game. Cal lost by 50, it's biggest failure in the history of the rivalry. Despite it only being one year later, the Bears and Cardinal are both 5-5 and the Furd is a -6.5 point favorite this weekend. For Cal fans we know that this is the best chance we've had at a win in several years, so we plan to make the most of it.
Kickoff has been announced as 1pm, which means a 6:15 am arrival into the Foothill Parking lot to begin setup. However, the prep for the event has already begun. Met with the tailgate Tzar and my co-chef last weekend to put some final touches on the menu, and we think that you'll find it to be a god damn treat, as always.
I will post the menu shortly, so expect a flurry of posts in the next few days. Tonight begins the cooking, which will last all the way up through post-game on Saturday.
